The Compound Movement is a group of fitness professionals and athletes that focus on earning results from scientifically proven methods that focus on using multi-joint movements to improve strength, conditioning, recovery, and nutrition. 


What I Do

As an experienced athlete who has proven success in a long fitness journey losing over 100 pounds through diet, exercise, and healthier habits and then becoming an multiple medal winning competitive powerlifter I'm living proof that anyone can make a change, and I'd love to help you on your journey.




 Our strength programs build lean muscle and improve muscle tone with a custom strength program tailored to your specific goals. We focus on the proven science of The Overload Principle that adds intensity over the course of your training through increased intensity (more weight)  or increased volume (more sets). This forces your body to adapt increasing muscle strength, endurance, and overall athletic performance while helping you look and feel great




Conditioning is often confused with cardio but is actually a much more broad term referring more to an athlete’s ability perform work over time.We call this work capacity and we work to increase our work capacity in a variety of ways including HIIT cardio through rowing, biking, skiing, or running, interval weight lifting, boot camp style workouts, and body weight movements. 




 We believe that you can only train as hard as you can recover from. Regardless of your goals recovery is an integral step to avoid injury, alleviate sore muscles, and keep you on track. Together, we'll develop a recovery program that includes stretches and active recovery exercises that will help you move and feel better and work harder in the gym.




To see optimal results from your hard work, nutrition is key. All of my clients receive a basic nutrition guide to help you track macronutrients and calories that are right for you.
